Amazing Dream Works picked an Asian lady to direct the sequel...a bold move.

Yeah, it's quite a breakthrough move.

 

I think that ultimately it's about Asian buying power. Best to have a Asian American who can bridge cultures.

 

Apparently she has proven herself with increasing responsibilities in previous Disney animated movies. She was in charge of the story in Kung Fu Panda.
