NY Times does not know that Chicken Soup is Chinese

A NY Times article China: Hold the Matzo Balls reports that Wuhan Zoo's pandas were fed chicken soup in addition to their regular diet. The reporter must have thought the title as witty, whereas it reveals an ignorance of the fact chicken soup as a tonic is a Chinese tradition, and is unrelated to the chicken soup that Jewish grandmothers are famous for.
