Garlic and Honey Beef Short Rib is Superb at Jade Garden
Jade Garden at Seattle's International District has a fish tank and its seafood from the tank is supposed to be very fresh (naturally).
I tried its Geoduck (which was not from the fish tank) and it was overcooked.
However, its "Garlic and Honey Beef Short Rib" is simply superb!
I think that it is not on the printed menu, but it is on the wall menu.
The place is not the cleanest, so depending on your tolerance, you might want to consider takeouts.

This assessment of Jade Garden is shared from my personal experience. The "geodisc", so easy to prepare that you virtually cannot screw it up, tasted like rubber in this restaurant. I did try a a couple of good catches from their fish tank, however, and they were pretty good. So I guess the trick to this restaurant is to get something alive and fresh. I also compliment the attitude of their serving staff too. I was in a bit of rush to return to my hotel after dinner, and they were kind enough to call a taxi cab for me ahead of time, probably sensing I must be running late for my date!
BTW, I would NOT bring a dinner date to this restaurant, but Jade Garden would not be a bad place to be if you are running late for a date.... just let the waiter know ahead of time, and don't order "Garlic anything". -
